A reputable power solutions and engineering company is seeking an experienced Service Maintenance Supervisor to oversee generator servicing, maintenance operations, field teams, and client service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise field engineers and technicians during generator servicing, repairs, and maintenance.
- Diagnose technical faults and provide hands-on support for diesel and gas generator systems.
- Coordinate emergency breakdown response and minimize equipment downtime.
- Inspect equipment, determine repair requirements, and prepare cost estimates and quotations.
- Plan daily and weekly maintenance schedules and allocate teams, tools, and vehicles.
- Coordinate spare parts requests with procurement and stores.
- Monitor job progress and ensure all work is completed to required standards.
- Maintain accurate job sheets, service reports, maintenance trackers, and client sign-off records.
- Enforce HSE procedures, quality standards, and safe working practices.
- Communicate professionally with clients and support the Service Maintenance Manager.
Requirements:
- OND, HND, B.Eng., or Bsc in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a recognized technical trade qualification.
- Minimum of 3–5 years hands-on experience in generator servicing and maintenance.
- At least 1 year of experience leading or supervising a technical team.
- Experience working with diesel generators such as CAT, Cummins, Perkins, or FG Wilson.
- Gas generator experience is an added advantage.
- Experience preparing job cost estimates and quotations.
- Strong troubleshooting, team coordination, planning, and client communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Zoho FSM or similar job-tracking systems.

A hands-on technical leader who can supervise field teams, handle breakdowns, coordinate maintenance jobs, and ensure excellent client service.
