Incompleteness, Inc. is hiring a Full Stack Engineer with a strong DevOps and security backbone. You will build product features end to end — UI, APIs, data — and own the infrastructure they run on: the pipelines that ship them, the monitoring that watches them, and the security posture that protects them. Our systems serve tens to hundreds of thousands of concurrent users and increasingly face enterprise security review, so reliability and hardening are core to the job. Working familiarity with the common LLMs and the harnesses around them is expected, but this role's center of gravity is operations and security, not model work.
About Incompleteness, Inc.
We are a small- to mid-sized company offering advanced cyber security solutions to enterprise clients. We are past the prototype stage: our systems run in production for real customers, and the next phase is scaling them to enterprise grade without losing the speed that got us here. The engineering team is small, senior, and close to the product — there are no layers between you and the decisions that matter.
What you'll do
• Build product features end to end: responsive frontends, API and service layers, and data models.
• Own the deployment pipeline: CI/CD, environment management, infrastructure as code, and zero-downtime releases.
• Run production: observability, alerting, incident response, and postmortems — you instrument what you ship and keep it up.
• Harden the platform: authentication and authorization, secrets management, dependency and supply-chain hygiene, encryption, and least-privilege access.
• Support enterprise security reviews and lay the groundwork for compliance (SOC 2 / ISO 27001).
• Keep our LLM-backed services operable: deploy, monitor, rate-limit, and secure them like any other production dependency.
What we're looking for
• Solid full stack experience shipping production web applications: a modern frontend framework, backend services (Node, Python, Go or similar), and relational or document data stores.
• Strong DevOps fundamentals: containers, Kubernetes or comparable orchestration, a major cloud (AWS, GCP or Azure), infrastructure as code (Terraform or similar), and mature CI/CD.
• Security-minded engineering: OWASP-level application security, secure SDLC practices, secrets management, and identity/network basics — you have found and fixed real vulnerabilities, not just read about them.
• Enough distributed-systems awareness to keep services healthy under heavy concurrent load: async patterns, queues, caching, rate limits.
• Working familiarity with the common LLMs (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, open-weight models) and harnesses — enough to deploy, monitor and secure LLM-backed services confidently.
• Comfort with ambiguity: you thrive with little structure, shifting priorities, and no spec — and you ship anyway.
• Clear communication in a small, fast-moving team.
Nice to have
• SOC 2 or ISO 27001 preparation, penetration-test remediation, or bug-bounty triage experience.
• SRE background: SLOs, error budgets, load and chaos testing.
• Experience with enterprise readiness: multi-tenancy, SSO/SCIM, audit logging, data residency.
• Deeper AI-stack experience: RAG pipelines, evals, or prompt-injection defenses.

We value shipped software over polished plans, and direct communication over consensus-building.
